The project

“Padua 2.0” is a strategic web project of hospitality and tourism and territorial promotion, by the Province of Padua, which has directly involved over 60 municipalities on the entire provincial territory.

Activities and realised solutions

BBS has managed the implementation of the whole project, which has seen:

  • the development of the web portal www.turismopadova.it, also available in mobile version
  • the development of the app (Android, iOS, Windows Phone) for provincial tourism promotion
  • the supply, installation and maintenance of indoor multimedia touchscreen totems in more than 60 municipalities throughout the province.

 

The solutions are based on a centralised software system, rich content is managed manually by operators which is both imported and updated daily by regional and membership data sources.

To date, the system manages more than 1,000 facilities, 650 restaurants / farmhouses, 230 points of interest, 140 routes, 2,000 events in 6 languages (Italian, English, French, German, Spanish and Russian).

BBS at the end also gave training services to employees of the Client, to make the client autonomous in the subsequent upgrading of multimedia content of the web portal, the app and interactive totems.
